The 2009 version of JET-TECH RoK includes some major new features. Jet-Tech RoK is the only software available that supports the Dellorto Variable Jet Kit. This is the kit available for the 2009 season, announced by Vortex in December 2008 - Dellorto Part Number: R.9305

Users can select their language option by simply clicking on the national flag. Languages supported include English, German, French and Italian.

   
The JET-TECH RoK screen gives the Main Jet, Needle Clip position and Spark Plug for the Dellorto VHSH 30/36 'ROK' carburettors. The software is suitable for the Vortex RoK – Junior, RoK and Super RoK engine/carbs.  JET-TECH RoK will calculate accurate main jet selections from all of the range of jets available for the VHSH 30/36 (jets 30 to 330) and precise needle clip positions for the recommended range of K Series needles. Mouse-over the carburettor and Jet-Tech RoK provides a graphical image of the needle clip and washer (if appropriate) postition.
 

 

The accuracy of the Pressure, Temperature and Humidity data you enter into your application has a direct bearing on the accuracy of the end result!

JET-TECH provides you with a unique copyright feature that will calibrate your barometer to an absolute accuracy of 0.299% or better. This process provides the perfect Software / Barometer combination and ensures that JET-TECH remains the most accurate Kart Jetting Software money can buy.

 

 

With the software un-locked, the user can select between Super, Rok or Junior engines. The software will automatically compensate for the different configurations. When the button is first selected, it provides the default setting for that particular engine/carb configuration. The user can then establish their own settings and when the button is pressed again, it will save the new configuration. Different setups can be saved to each button, enabling you to easily recall them. Both NGK and Denso Plug options are also provided.

 

In addition to selecting the floats, float heights (in 1mm increments) can be selected and recorded - from a drop down list. This allows the user to fine tune their carburettor setup, allowing for the effect that float height has on jetting.

   

With the main screen un-locked, the user can switch between any of the Dellorto K Series of needles used in RoK. Similarly, any of the Dellorto needle jets for RoK (250-292) can be selected from drop down lists, at the click of a button. Your selected settings are automatically saved and the screen can be locked again to prevent accidental changes.

Jet-Tech RoK fully supports the 2009 Dellorto Variable Jet Kit announced by Vortex in December 2008. From the main configuration screen users can select this option if required.  If you are using the kit (R.9305) you can select the variable jet and main jet option (200, 220 or 250) from the list.

 

The adjustment is shown in hours and minutes notation. In the example screen shot, a 200 main jet has been selected and a setting in this instance, for the variable jet shows 1:45M. So you would turn the variable jet out 1 3/4 turns. Using this method, you can adjust your main jet to an accuracy of 1/60th turn of the variable jet.

 

Why do you need Jet-Tech RoK when using the variable jet kit? SAVE YOUR ENGINE!

 

The range of the Dellorto main jets when used with the variable jet is dramatic - from the equivalent of a 140 to a 190 main jet! In some instances a 1/4 turn can mean the difference between a main jet equivalent from 170 to 160. So accuracy is critical in ensuring that you not only maintain peak performance of your engine but also to eliminate the risk of seizing your engine.

 

Only Jet-Tech RoK with this unique and copyright feature can give you the correct settings and parameters to safely configure your carburettor.

Flow-Bench within Jet-Tech RoK, can also be used to fine tune the Variable Jet settings if you are using the 2009 Dellorto Variable Jet Kit.
