The Dellorto JET-TECH PRO screen
gives the Main Jet, Needle Clip position and Spark Plug for any Carburettor
from the Dellorto range. All needle designs available from Dellorto
(suitable for Rotax Max –Micro / Mini / JNR / Senior / DD2, 125 ICC, RoK,
Biland and many others) are accommodated.
JET-TECH Pro will calculate
accurate main jet selections for the jets 30 to 330 and precise needle clip
positions for the needle series: A, AK, D, E, M, K, U, W, X suitable for the
Dellorto carburettor models VHSA, VHSH, PHBE, PHF, PHM, PHSB, PHBH/L, PHBG,
PHVB, PHVA, PHBN, SHA, SS1, UB, VHB and of course, the VHSB for the Rotax

'Unlocking' from the main Dellorto screen, reveals all of the variables and
adjustments for the Dellorto single-choke carburettors. The user can select
from the full range of needles, the venturi size, needle jet, idle jet, float weights,
float height, all from
drop down lists. In addition, spark plug manufacturer - NGK or Denso - can
be selected at the click of a button. |

The user can modify the settings to allow for the different characteristics
of each needle, relative to their specific engine/carb combination. Needle
Selection can be made from a drop-down list of all needles manufactured by
Dellorto for their single-choke carburettors. Any needle
design such as the K98 for MAX, the K28 for the RoK, the U2 for ICC and/or the full range available to other classes,
is easily accommodated with this facility. |

All Dellorto
float weights are included and easily selected. Float
height can be set in 1mm increments allowing the user to map tuning changes
to the floats. Changing the float height affects jetting across the throttle range.
This feature enables you to reflect those changes and helps you to keep
track of your different carburettor setups. |

Mid range
performance, 1/4 to 3/4 throttle opening, is actually controlled not only by
the needle type selection but also the needlejet size and type selection. So
when class rules allow, another feature exclusive to Jet-Tech Pro can be
used. This feature changes the recommended needlejet size as the air density
changes so perfectly matching the changing conditions. This feature can be
'fixed' for classes where a specific needlejet must be used - such as in
Rotax MAX. The full range of Dellorto needlejets can be easily
selected. |

all Jet-Tech software and is designed to enable the user to perfectly match
Carburettor, Engine, Exhaust and Jet-Tech Software for all racing conditions
and states of engine tune.
Because the Dellorto range of carburettors are a mass
produced item, no two will Flow air and fuel exactly the same and whilst
Jet-Tech Pro will, for 99.9% of carburettors, mirror the performance
exactly, it may be that your engine tuner/builder has optimised your engine
and/or exhaust pipe in a particular way that requires a different jetting
and needle curves to get the maximum power and torque out of your carb and
engine combination.
If this is the case and/or you want to experiment with your
carbs set-up and performance across all air density ranges, then the latest

You can now set-up even more accurately how Jet-Tech Pro

Up to 10 different
configurations/settings can be saved in the Set-up database. So when you
change your carb type, carb settings or engine, you can easily recall your
optimum set-up for the chosen combination thus maintaining maximum

Dellorto Needle Analysis Screen allows the user to compare the characteristics of a
selection of needles from the complete Dellorto range. Using one of the needles as a reference, the user can
compare the flow characteristics and equivalent jet settings of other
needles for a given throttle opening ie. to see if needle 'X' is leaner or
richer than needle 'Y' for any given throttle opening etc. |

The
Diaphragm Carburettor screen is used to calculate the Jet settings of any 2
or 3 jet carb used when racing FA, ICA, 100 National, TKM, Cadet, TaG and many
other formulae. Using the accurate weather data, Jet-Tech will display the
recommended settings for each jet. In addition to jetting, Jet-Tech will also provide plug
type/heat range information.
You can also setup your carbs
pop-off pressures and then the software will calculate and display your new
pop-off pressures (in PSI or Bar) as the weather conditions
change. In this way you can exactly match your unique carburettors
characteristics and maintain perfect jetting each and every time to go to
the track. |

Jet-Tech Air Lab gives you an insight
into just some of the internal calculations used by the Jet-Tech Dynamic
Simulation Model© to precisely maintain optimum jetting for all versions
of Jet-Tech software.
Jet-Tech Air-Lab has been developed to
bridge the gap between the old, traditional approach to engine tuning which
in the past was based on tuning indicators such as Density Altitude and,
often inaccurate, Relative Air Density (RAD) Gauges and the modern computer
based approach which fully utilises powerful advanced carburettor simulation
software such as Jet-Tech PRO.
Air-Lab will calculate the atmospheric
data collected from the weather data entered on either the Dellorto or
Diaphragm carburettor jetting screens within Jet-Tech PRO.
Jet-Tech Air-Lab calculates and
presents data that can be used to calculate the Dyno Correction Factor and
Relative Horsepower when testing engines to internationally accepted
standards. |

The
Gear/Oil/Weight screen, calculates
Gear Ratios, Equivalent Gearing, the Gearing required to pull target revs
for both fixed drive aned gearbox Karts.
Kart Chassis Weight and Balance - essential to check for chassis twist or
incorrect weight distribution can be recorded. Also Kart Speed at maximum revs in KPH &
Metres per second and finally Oil/fuel ratios can be calculated. |

The Kart
Handling Analysis screen enables the user to enter general chassis handling
characteristics at entry, apex and exit of corners. Characteristics can be
selected for each point, from a drop-down list and corrective action is
suggested. Detailed notes can be accessed at the click of a button and your
own observations and settings can be added.

Tyres are
designed to give optimum grip at the optimum carcass temperature. Jet-Tech
Pro now gives you a facility to record your tyre temperatures. Knowing these
temperatures is an extremely important factor in finalizing the settings for
your Kart. Jet-Tech can supply you with a quality, combined tyre pyrometer and electrical
multi-meter - the
Jet-Tech Race
Meter - to take full advantage of this unique feature of Jet-Tech
Pro.

the Jet-Tech Race-Meter, T-Spy and other suitable tyre temperature probe
(not provided with the software), temperature readings are taken from the
inside middle and outside of each tyre, and entered as shown. The software
records these and provides an average temperature for each tyre. |

With the
direction of the circuit (clockwise or anti-clockwise) selected. Jet-Tech
Pro will then generate a detailed report containing information such as
inflation pressures, castor, camber and weight distribution characteristics,
rear axle, hub, wheel performance and finally, geometry checks. The report
can be saved to your notes for review and/or further analysis.

The
Kart Set-up Data screen is used to record your Kart Setup, engine choice,
gearing, tyre and track temperatures and laptimes
for each track session using the drop down menus. Jet-Tech can also
accommodate up to 10 different engines, recording your serial numbers and
engine running time. Data saved is relative to the engine used in the
session. Tracks can be entered and saved for easy retrieval of data later
on. Saved data is kept in the Jet-Tech Data Analyst database and/or can be saved directly into your data logger software or
into the notes feature of this software, or any other Windows software
running on your computer such as Microsoft Word, WordPad etc. |

number etc etc.. |

select a track and all the records for it will be displayed in the list at
the top of the screen. This list can then be sorted into any order - such as
quickest lap and the kart setup information is then displayed for the chosen

required. The user can search all records on any variable. So if you wanted
to find your best chassis setup, for a particular circuit on slick tyres,

Chassis
setups can be loaded directly into the setup screen, from which you can
produce a detailed setup sheet. This can be printed out and used to guide
you through your chassis configuration when you're in the garage or awning.
