The JET-TECH MAX screen gives the Main Jet, Needle Clip position and Spark Plug for the Dellorto VHSB34 'MAX' carburettor. The software is suitable for all Rotax MAX versions including the Senior MAX, Junior MAX, Mini MAX, the DD2 and the new Micro MAX engine/carbs, using either combination 1, the 5.2g floats and 30/30 idle jets or combination 2, the 3.6g floats with 60/60 idle jets.

JET-TECH MAX will calculate accurate main jet selections from all of the range of jets available for the VHSB34 (jets 30 to 330) and precise needle clip positions for the K27 and K98 needles. It will also give the correct plug type required.

Users can select their language option by simply clicking on the national flag. Languages supported include English, German, French and Italian.

 

 

The accuracy of the Pressure, Temperature and Humidity data you enter into your application has a direct bearing on the accuracy of the end result!

With the system un-locked, the user can select between Senior, Junior, Mini, Micro and DD2 Rotax MAX engines. The software will automatically compensate for the different configurations. When the button is first selected, it provides the default setting for that particular engine/carb configuration.

The user can then establish their own settings, which will be saved as a new configuration, under the button which is selected at the time the changes are made. In this way different setups can be saved to each button, enabling you to easily recall them. 

 

The Needle Design Screen defaults to the Rotax K98 needle. The user can switch between the K98 and the K27 at the click of a button. The original combination of  5.2g floats and 30/30 idle jets or new newer combination of 3.6g floats with 60/60 idle jets can also be selected at the click of a button. Both NGK and Denso spark plug options are provided.

 

In addition to selecting the float and idle jet combination, float heights (in 1mm increments) can be selected and recorded - from a drop down list. This allows the user to fine tune their carburettor setup, allowing for the effect that float height has on jetting.

Because the Dellorto range of carburettors are a mass produced item, no two will Flow air and fuel exactly the same and whilst Jet-Tech MAX will, for 99.9% of carburettors, mirror the performance exactly, it may be that your engine tuner/builder has optimised your engine and/or exhaust pipe in a particular way that requires a different jetting and needle curves to get the maximum power and torque out of your carb and engine combination.

You can now set-up even more accurately how Jet-Tech MAX operates and the jetting answers it gives you for all Air Density values (Temperature, Humidity and Pressure), and adjust the rate of change of main jet and needle clip settings required, relative to changes in Air Density - bearing in mind of course, that for 99.9% of users, it will already be operating exactly how you want it to without any further adjustments being made.
